    • Baptised plain Martha and appears as such in 1881 census, b Burscough. Marries as Martha Ann and appears as such in 1901 and 1911 censuses, but b Runcorn. There is a Martha Lamb b 1875 Runcorn, daughter of waterman Samuel Lamb, but this appears to be coincidence as Martha Ann's widowed father Joseph is living with her and her husband Isaac in Blackburn in 1911.
