    • Baptised as John Bamber, but appears as John Gobin (Gibbons) in 1851 census with mother, widow of John Gibbons, already remarried to Thomas Robinson.
      In 1871 census as Bamber with half-brother Joseph Gobbin (Gibbons, Elizabeth's son with John Gibbons). Listed as Bamber (unmarried) thereafter until 1911 when living with his (also illegitimate) brother Edward b 1843.
