    • Born before parents married. Birth registered Q4 1848 as Thomas Boden Whitehead, baptised two years later as Thomas Whitehead Boden.
      In 1861 census as Boden Whitehead, (Thomas W Bowden in 1871), marries as Whitehead Boden. Wife petitions for divorce after five months of marriage, citing his abuse and adultery. Decree nisi granted 5.5.1877.
      In 1881 census as unmarried.
