    Notes:

    Spinster in marriage record, age 21, father named as Thomas Walsh, agricultural labourer, who married her (suspected) mother in 1857.
    In 1911 census as Margaret Aspinall, 73, widow, aunt of Henry Dutton b 11.7.1861 Lathom (q.v.) whose father Henry was born illegitimately in 1823.

    Notes:

    The 1857 marriage at 'St John's Chapel, Lathom' might have suggested Lathom Park Chapel, except that it was 'according to the Rites of the Roman Catholic Church', so is assumed to have been St John the Evangelist in Chapel Lane. The MC identifies the registrar as John Gobin, minister Richard Hodgson and according to the Taking Stock website of Catholic Churches a Canon Hodgson served the Mission from 1850-71.
