No record of earlier marriage found, but in 1861 census, unmarried, with parents Joseph and Mary Abbott, and in 1871 as wife of Thomas Baldwin with father-in-law Joseph Abbott and son Benjamin Charnock, b 1866, mother's maiden name Abbott (Lancs BMD).
Age consistent with 1834 birth in 1841-71 censuses, but then varies widely, given as 37 in 1881, 52 in 1891, 63 in 1901 and 66 in 1907 death record.
