    No marriage record(s) found, and it is possible that the Betty in the 1841 census (not born in Cheshire) died and John remarried, as the Betty in 1851, age 34, was born in Whitley, just north of Northwich. Also there are two daughters called Elizabeth in 1851, ages 12 and 1 month, and it is unlikely that they would have been born to the same couple.
