Notes:

No marriage record found and no children from whom a maiden name could be identified. The 1911 census indicates length of marriage as 48 years, which would indicate an 1863 wedding, two years after they appear as a married couple in the 1861 census.
Plain Jane in most censuses, age 23 in 1861, 35 in 1871, 44 in 1881, 57 in 1891, 68 in 1901, Jane Ann in 1911 but Mary Jane in death record, age 77 (the unclear death date could be May thirtieth or thirteenth).
