There is a confusing baptism entry at St Matthias of a second William, 27.12.1885, born to Thomas and Margaret on 18.12.1885 aboard "David" on the canal, for whom no further record found. The first William is in the 1891 census, age 10, with his sister Elizabeth living with their aunt Mary (nee Ashton) Winstanley in Downholland.
