    • Maria and Isaac had at least six children who died, also although no death record has been found for Ann Elizabeth (b1867) there is no trace of her in the censuses. A Christina Carter, age 2, appears with Maria in 1881 as a nurse child, then "adopted" as in 1891 she is listed as Christina Pendlebury, daughter of Isaac and Maria. In 1895 as Christina Carter, she marries waterman Edward HIll at All Saints, Runcorn, and appears with him, and her sister Alice Carter, in the 1901 census.
