    • A note added to the 1911 census record for Sarah Ann and Thomas Hartley and gour children states: "Thomas Hartley is father of all the children, all of whom were born before marriage of parents". Thhis probably applies only to Lizzie and Emma is Sarah Ann was living with Thomas Waterworth in the 1901 census and the four earlier baptisms have Thomas Waterworth as father.
