    • After her third husband died (probably in Runcorn, Q1 1878) the 1881 census for Widnes records her as Emma Dawson, widow, 55, b Frodsham - but no fourth marriage found. With her are her sons William Bate and John and William (Woods) recorded as Dawson.
      In 1891 she is recorded as Emma Woods, widow, with sons William Bate(s) and William Woods, living with her daughter Annie (nee Woods) McAllister (also in 1901).
