    • In 1841/51 censuses at Sankey Bridges, as Martha Dutton, unmarried daughter of Thomas, but apparently in 1871 census as Martha Chadwick, 'wife' of waterman Joseph Chadwick (no marriage record found) with four Chadwick children including William, 8, believed to be her illegitimate son William Dutton.
