  Forrester is listed twice in the 1901 census, with his parents in Lydiate and as a lodger in Bootle with another ship's carpenter, Thomas Dobson b1862 Liverpool who married Edith Marsden of Parbold in 1890. No family connection has been found between these Dobson lines: Forrester's grandfather was John Dobson b1812 Ormskirk, while Thomas's appears to have been John Dobson b1804 Liverpool.
