    • Not found in 1901 census, but in 1911 with two children and wife Mary, 32, apparently married 18 years, which seems unlikely if her ahe is recorded correctly. There is a marriage at Christ Church, Barnton, 29.12.1892 of Peter Allen, father John, to Susan Hancock, father Samuel, but no further evidence of her.
